My sister did the most thoughtful thing and sent me a beautiful box of individually wrapped cookies from The Sunflower Baking Company. She ordered the gift box from Garuda International, an online shop for fair trade organic foods, gifts, and products. I'd never heard of it before, but after doing some browsing on their web site I've realized that it's a really smart, eco-friendly way to shop online. I received a beautifully wrapped-and-bowed box with bright colored tissue, a well as a personalized card made from recycled materials. I thought this was such a sweet gesture, and now I have Chocolate Chip, Peanut Butter, Lemony Lemon, and German Chocolate cookies to enjoy for weeks to come.
