Get exciiiiited!I think one of the reasons I moved to New York City was that I wanted everything at my fingertips - growing up in the midwest suburbs, all the "cool stuff" was in the city and never made it out here. Well now that I'm back home for awhile, I assumed that the new vegan cookies nationally available at Starbucks didn't apply to me. Sure enough, I went to Starbucks and couldn't find any indication of the cookies in the glass baked goods case or the refrigerated section below. Well...maybe if I stopped being a whiny beeyotch and looked behind me, I would have seen the separate display of dried fruit, nuts, chips, and packaged vegan cookies by Lucy's! It took me like, three visits, but I finally found them!
The vegan, gluten-free, nut-free cookies are available in Chocolate Chip, Cinnamon Thin, and Sugar Cookie. They come four to a package and are under 200 calories! I paired the chocolate chip cookies with a vanilla soy latte for a yummy afternoon treat. The cookies were crunchy and salty-sweet, but even if they tasted like cardboard (which they certainly don't!) I would buy them to support vegan treats at the corporate empire that is Starbucks.
Make sure to look ALL AROUND your local Starbucks - the cookies may be in a separate display! But even if you don't see them, ASK! Supply and demand, people.

So I was in San Francisco last week and the Starbucks by my hotel had these (and they also carried Two Moms in the Raw Granola ... also vegan and raw!). I snatched up some granola and cookies to take home, also assuming my Starbucks in Memphis would not have either. I haven't gone into a Starbucks since I've been home, but now I will go investigate for sure. Thanks for the tip!
Oh, and thanks for saying I don't look almost 30. That means a lot. I'm feeling a little old these days...not that 30 is old. But you know. It's older than 20, right?

I hears about these! I havent seen them at my local starbucks yet but im hoping that they will have them in another one a half an hour away. Im checking when I go into work tomorrow :) If not I shall demand that they get some in I want to try these!

thank god. i hate when i'm really hungry and grab tea at starbucks and always drool over the non-veg treats. i hope my starbucks in boston carries these!
